The ranch has a great location bounded by the King Ranch on the north and Highway 285 on the south.
This area is well known for producing diverse wildlife and is encompassed by the Texas Tropical Trail. TOPOGRAPHY, VEGETATION & WILDLIFE: The Chuchilla Pasture Ranch is gently sloping to flat with two low waterways or creek bottoms extending through the northeastern and southwestern corners of the property. The vegetation is primarily open motted grass pasture with thicker brush and trees along the common border with the King Ranch. The majority of the ranch is fine sandy loam soil with good moisture retention capacity.
WILDLIFE: The ranch has been well-groomed to accommodate large numbers of bobwhite quail; as well as being located in a natural fly zone for dove hunting. Deer and hogs are present, particularly along the King Ranch border.
WATER: Water is plentiful on the ranch with two water wells and four tanks strategically placed throughout the property.
